Hi Everyone, Myself, Spence Shephard, Chuck Sadek
and Sarah Beltrami have been working on an idea
for several months and would like to spread the
word now as it looks like we can make it work
with support from fellow Corvair owners and CORSA
members. This 50th year of Corvairs is obviously
special and several events have been planned to honor the Anniversary.

SECC St. Augustine Corvair Auto cross March 28/29 2009

Well it looks like Winter is finally releasing it's hold on the Southeast and we will be having a great

Videos from Summit Point

You will notice that in my off course run my objective was to wake up the corner worker whose yellow vest was obvious as he was getting ready to bail out of his pagoda. Actually I was also trying to get the 1995 Eagle Talon off my tail and it worked quite well.

Where's The Beef Racing Team Waterford Hills

The BEEF is back. Since the completion of our Grassroots autocrosser and track car, WTBRT #112, Scott Trunkhill and I had completed over 332 runs since August of 2003. We define 'runs' as completions of a designed course and we do not separate practice runs or competitive runs. Runs are therefore very different in length and time and may take place on a road course, autocross course, an oval or circular race course or on a dragstrip. Our original Monza bodied Corvair with a used 95,000 mile stock 140hp engine was the 332 run racer that had competed in NECC events at Clay City dragstrip in Kentucky and Beaverun road course in Pennsylvania.

Doesn't get much better

On Sunday, Scott Trunkhill and I met at Ted's Auto Body in Tucker, GA. Our goal was to prepare a donor body for WTBRT #112 and to obtain "Group Red" status for "Goldie" by day's end. We were helped by Mark Ligler, longtime Corvair Atlanta and CORSA member.

Season Ender AutoX part Deux

Hey All, I have waited with baited breath for a Central Florida Corvairs report on the Corvair Affair AutoX but since none has appeared I will give you one.

Mosport, NECC, and Buffalo

Monday was a magnificent day at Mosport International. The 2.5 mile road track is an awesome experience that makes Virginia International Raceway and Road Atlanta mild in comparison.

Preparing for 2006 Corsa Convention

Hello everyone, Scott Trunkhill and I spent about 9 hours today going over all the mechanicals of #112 in preparation for competing at Mosport and the autocross at Buffalo. For those of you who don't know, #112 has completed 333 runs in practice or competition over a period from August 2003 thru March 2006.

WTBRT = 333 and the Real story about "MudFlaps"

It was just another beautiful sunny day in the oldest US city. The bright blue sky was mixed with an occasional puffy white cloud and the combo was perfect for "FastEddie" Meadows 2nd variation to his outstanding autocross setup at yet another exciting SECC racing event.

WTBRT reaches endurance milestone 300

Hey Everyone, CORSA SC conducted their annual autocross at a new site this year. It was a very nice course and ran on a weathered but solid asphalt surface in the large parking lot of Wren High School in Piedmont, SC. The weather was picture perfect and the course was made even more pleasant by a refreshing breeze which cooled us all day.
